Sports Injury Treatment and Recovery in Mississauga

Whether you run the Waterfront Trail, play hockey, golf on weekends or train at the gym, aches and injuries can slow you down. The right care may help you recover and get back to what you enjoy.

At Shoreside Wellness, we offer registered massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and osteopathy in one Mississauga clinic, so your care can be built around your sport and your goals.

We welcome patients from across Mississauga, Port Credit and the surrounding area, and we are open 7 days a week.

How We Can Help

Injuries and Problems We Commonly See

  • Muscle strains and tightness

  • Sore knees, hips and ankles from running

  • Shoulder and elbow pain from racquet sports, golf or lifting

  • Low back pain from training or sport

  • Stiffness and soreness after hard workouts

  • Ongoing aches from old injuries

Registered massage therapy (RMT). Our RMTs work on tight, overworked muscles to help ease soreness and support recovery between workouts and events. Sessions run from 30 to 120 minutes, and some RMTs also include cupping.

Chiropractic. Our chiropractor uses gentle techniques, including Activator and drop-table adjustments, to help improve how your joints move. First visits are 45 minutes and follow-ups are 15 minutes.

Acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and cupping. Our Registered Acupuncturists may use acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and cupping to help ease muscle and joint pain. Sessions are 60, 75 or 90 minutes.

Osteopathy. Gentle, hands-on treatment that looks at how your whole body moves, which can help with ongoing or repeat problems.

Many people find these treatments may help ease pain and tightness and support their recovery. Everyone responds differently, and our care is not a replacement for medical care.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Call us and we will help you choose. Many athletes book regular RMT for recovery and add chiropractic or acupuncture when something flares up.

Many extended health plans cover registered massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and osteopathy. We provide official receipts so you can submit your claim.

When to see a doctor first: see a doctor or go to emergency for a suspected broken bone, a joint that looks out of place, major swelling, being unable to put weight on a limb, or any head injury or possible concussion.
