JINNA ZHENG, RMT, R. Ac., R.TCMP
In China, she graduated from Chinese Medical School and practiced in a Military hospital for 2 ½ years. She came to Toronto in 1994, and worked in an established medical centre practice as an Acupuncturist & Tui Na therapist. Soon after, she went on to establish Shoreside Wellness Centre (formerly Jinna's Acupuncture Centre) in Mississauga in 1995 as well as joined the Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Association of Canada.
Jinna has also obtained a Registered Massage Therapy license with ICT Kikkawa College and is a certified Yoga instructor, which is beneficial in helping her patients with home care.
MICHELLE QIU, R. Ac., R. TCMP
Michelle graduated with a Masters of Integrated Chinese and
Western Medicine from a Chinese university. She practiced as a TCM doctor in a Chinese hospital for
8 years, with nearly 40,000 patient visits. She has particular experience in gynecological diseases such as infertility,
dysmenorrhea, menopause syndrome, and menstrual disorders. She is also experienced in treating neurological diseases like painful symptoms, hemiplegia, facial
paralysis, and mental disorders. She is enthusiastic and empathetic to her patients.
LI SU, RMT, R. Ac., R.TCMP
Li is a registered massage therapist and registered acupuncturist in Ontario. Li graduated with a Master's degree in acupuncture and massage in China and began his career practicing massage and acupuncture there in 2002 before moving to Canada.
Li is experienced in assessing and treating patients with nervous system and orthopedic diseases, chronic pain, obesity, dyspepsia, anorexia and irregular menstruation.
SOPHIE(YING) WEI, RMT, R. TCMP, R. Ac.
Sophie (Ying Wei), R.TCMP, R.AC, obtained her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University. She is a registered Chinese Medicine Doctor in China and also holds membership in the Oriental Medicine branch of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in the USA.
Ying’s expertise encompasses a wide range of TCM therapies, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and other modalities. Her treatments are designed to alleviate chronic pain, reduce stress, regulate the immune system, and improve the endocrine system.
Sophie is also a registered massage therapist in Ontario.
DAVID WU, R. Ac.
David (Zhongqing) Wu graduated from China Changchun Traditional Chinese medicine University in 1995 and has more than 20 years of experience in Acupuncture, and Tui Na therapy. In 2015, he worked in the Beijing Shijitan hospital, and in 2020 obtained his license to work in Canada. He has worked at Jinna's Acupuncture since August 2020, and has brought along his extensive experience with him. David's specialties includes treating neck, shoulder, low back, and leg pain, as well as hemiplegia treatments.
Ariel is one of our valued receptionists at Shoreside Wellness Centre. She attended OCADU pursuing her bachelor in fine art’s. When not interacting with our patients, she enjoys oil painting, working out and cooking.
MEI WANG, R. Ac., R.TCMP
Mei graduated from Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Capital Medical University in 2004 and became a licensed TCM doctor in China. She apprenticed under nationally famous TCM doctors before coming to Canada. She became an Ontario Registered Acupuncturist in 2015. Later, she obtained her Ontario TCM Practitioner License in 2021. She has almost 20 years of experience practicing TCM treatments such as acupuncture, herbal medicine formulas, cupping, and Meridian Tui Na therapy. She is experienced in treating chronic pains, gynecological diseases, digestive disorders, depression, and skin diseases.
DR. SALLY SHANA, DC
Dr. Sally Shana is a registered Chiropractor with a passion for alleviating pain, improving mobility and enhancing overall well-being through a non-invasive and patient-centered approach. Dr. Sally graduated and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2022 with honours.
Prior to that, She attended the University of Toronto and earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education in 2018. Dr. Sally specializes in identifying the root cause and treating musculoskeletal issues, promoting spinal health, and improving overall bodily function through hands-on spinal manual manipulations and personalized treatment plans. She combines her years of extensive knowledge, and excellent communication skills to educate patients so they are comfortable and well-informed throughout their chiropractic journey.
LILY GUO, RMT, R. Ac.
Lily has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist for 10 years, and as of 2017, has obtained her license for Acupuncture Therapy. Lily combines her years of expertise, as well as passion for wellness during her treatments, and specializes in Deep Tissue massage & Cupping Therapy.
Since 1993, Vivian has studied massage therapy and beauty, and went on to work as a beautician in China from 1994 to 2001. In 2002, she came to Canada to further her learning and specialized in beauty and massage. Since 2014, she has worked as a Tui Na therapist at Shoreside Wellness Centre where she incorporates her passion for beauty and skill of deep tissue massage.
Melissa is one of our valued receptionists at the Shoreside Wellness Centre. This Applied Human Nutrition graduate is passionate about food, fitness, health and wellness. In her continuous pursuit toward optimal health and well-being, she is motivated to simultaneously aid and inspire others along their own health journeys too. Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a huge proponent of artistic expression and sticking to her creative roots. She loves everything from music and dance to fine art and sculpting.
Anna is a key person in keeping our clinic running smoothly and efficiently. We count on Anna for maintain our financial records, to provide backup receptionist support, to keep our patient management system up to date and to provide training to new administrative staff.
