Swedish massage is a type of therapeutic massage that originated in Sweden and is now widely practiced around the world. It is a full-body massage technique that involves manipulating the body's soft tissues, including the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, using long, flowing strokes, kneading, friction, and other techniques.

Deep tissue massage is a more therapeutic massage that targets the deeper layers of muscle tissue and fascia. It involves using slow, deliberate strokes and deep pressure to release chronic muscle tension and knots. Deep tissue massage is typically recommended for people with chronic pain, limited mobility, or recovering from an injury.

Tui Na massage is often referred to as "Chinese Massage" and involves the use of manual techniques to stimulate the body's energy flow, or "qi," along specific meridians or channels. The name "Tui Na" comes from the Chinese words "tui," meaning to push, and "na," meaning to grasp or squeeze.  

It is often confusing to the patient as to what it means to be a registered massage therapist.  In Canada, registered massage therapists (RMTs) provide a range of different types of massage therapy, depending on their training and the needs of their clients.
